1st day: Welcome to the international airport of SAN PEDRO SULA.

2nd day: Transfer to the village of COPAN Ruinas, picturesque village that in this time has the biggest MAYA civilization. For the amateurs, take advantage of the cigars of COPAN that are world-wide famous.

3rd day: Visit archeological sites of COPAN, classified inheritance of the humanity by the UNESCO, follow by the visit of the museum that shelters the temple "Rosa lila". Copan is one of the sites more important and was the artistic shine of the civilization MAYA.

Day 4: Beaches and the afro-Caribbean atmosphere. TRIUNFO is the biggest Garifuna village that exists with 6000 inhabitants.

Day 5: Excusion with the COCO TOURS boat to the national park of PUNTA SAL (old thirst of the pirates), followed by a stroll in the tropical reserve.The genetical bank of this park is impressive with more than 345 howling species of tropical birds like toucanes, also crocodiles, caymans, tigers, monkeys and manatee among others. For the lunch we will enjoy a feast of barbequed fish, yum!A variable walk of 1 to 3 hours.

Day 6 : Transfert to CEIBA. CEIBA is famous to be the most accessible city of HONDURAS.7th day: Transfer by plane to the locality of PALACIOS located in edge of the MOSQUITIA. PALACIOS is the place of convergence of all the ethnos groups which lives in the rain forest, it is also the largest village of this immense zone without road way. Benefit in the after midday to put you in the bath of the life of the biosphere.
8th day: Early in the morning we will approach a tuk-tuk(canoë) which will lead us to the village of PLAYITAS accompanied by the cries of the forest and the mangroves. First approach is with this incredibly fauna, flora and the lagoon of IBANS. We will continue with an approximate walk of 1 hour through the paths to return to KURI.
9th day: By canoe we will start from KURI to return to the Pech village of LAS MARIAS (Pech are an ethnic group which has never cut their bonds with the forest). We show again the channels and the mangroves of the river PLATANO.
This way is beautiful with the constant change of the coastal vegetation of the rain forest.

10th day: At first light we will leave our Pechs friends to return on KURI in the canoe, throughout the way we will be able to see and hear the monkeys and even the crocodiles, snakes and jaguars which live in the biosphere.
11th day: In the morning we will leave KURI to return by foot with PLAYITA who awaits us with our tuk-tuk (canoe) to bring us back to PALACIOS. From there a plane awaits us to bring us back to CEIBA with an extraordinary overflight of color from the top of the biosphere and Caribbean coast.

Day 12 : transfert to CEIBA at the airport to connect us with our flight to UTILA.

Day 14 and 15 :Relax.....beach and sun for the 2 last day UTILA island is surrounded by the coral reef, this small island, with its ranges of white sandy beaches, crystalline water and coconut palms. Mix yourselves in with the heat and with the various forms of coral reefs, it is recognised that more than 4000 types of fishes inhabit these magical beaches and with thousands of animals and plants, is surely heaven on earth.

DAY 15 : Transfert to the airport of UTILA to conect you with your international flight.

This excursion towards the Rio Platano is an intense adventure. Good physical condition is recommended. We provide all the equipment. In the event of urgency there is a helicopter on constant contact, operated instructions with our radio. The places which we visit are basic, one shares the daily life style and the experience of the lifestyle of the inhabitants in this tropical forest. Please know that we will be sleeping outdoors.
