Mayan World
2nd day: Transfer to Copán Ruins. We will stop at the town of La Entrada to visit the local marketplace. Arrived
to the picturesque town of COPAN Ruinas, we will do a city tour. For the amateurs, take advantage cigars
of COPAN that are famous world-wide.
3rd day: Visit the Mayan ruinas of COPAN, classified inheritance of the humanity by the UNESCO. Copan
was the one of the sites more important and was the artistic place of
the civilization MAYA. In the afternoon we'll visit the Mayan museum.
4th day: Transfer on the Caribbean coast. The road is beautiful, the first party passes in edge
of primary forest of conifers (Copan is in altitude), the second brings
gently towards the coastal végétation of the Caribbean,
coconut palms and banana plantations. Arriving in Triunfo de la Cruz, native Garifuna village enjoy; beaches and the afro-Caribbean culture and atmosphere during the afternoon. Note: Severals of Coco Tours guide live in this village. Night in "Triunfo de la cruz"
(Tela).
Ecological caribbean adventure and ecoturism
5th days: Jungle.Expedition by tipical canoe (cayucos) to the national
park of PUNTA IZOPO. With our "Cayuco" we will cruise on the river
to the breadth of the mangroves. The genetic bank of this park is impressive
with more than 185 species of birds of which the toucans, but also crocodiles,
caymans, jaguars, screaming monkeys and manatee.
6th day: Excursion by our 4 wheel drive and boat to the national park of PUNTA SAL (old thirst of the pirates), by the way we will visit 3 Garifunas native village and the lagoon of Los Micos (monkeys, tropical birds and manatee among others). For the lunch we will enjoy a feast of barbequed fish.
7th and 8th day : La Ceiba - National Park Pico Bonito, Las Mangas.
Transfer by the mountain to the picturesque village of Las Mangas inside the national park of Pico Bonito. You will spend two nights here, relaxing and exploring the natural surroundings. Also possible (not include) to enjoy some rafting, kayac, treks or canopy.
Roatan Island, coral reef.
9th and 10th day: Transfer to ROATAN. Relax.....beach and sun for the 2 last day Roatan island is surrounded by the coral reef with its ranges of white sandy beaches, crystalline water and coconut palms. Mix yourselves in with the heat and with the various forms of coral reefs, it is recognized that more than 4000 types of fishes inhabit these magical beaches and with thousands of animals and plants, is surely heaven on earth. 11th day: In the morning we will return ourselves
to Tela Bay to visit during the afternoon, the tropical botanical garden of LANCETILLA. Here you will find hardwood, medicinal and ornamental plants as well as tropical fruit trees from all over the world. The unbelievable
wealth of this place, more than 250 species of tropical birds among them tucans, colibiris, and many others .In an big tree, scientific
find more than 54 types of ants be more than the type entirety inventoried
in England. Lasted trek: 1 to 4 hours.
12th days: Our guide and transportation will take you to the airport
of San Pedro Sula to connect you with your international flight of return.
