CEIBA is the 3rd city of the country and most surely the most vibrating city.

Its name comes from the tree "CEIBA", which is a tree has invaluable wood and which can measure about fifty meter, a tree struck down at the entry of the city has been made the mascot.

• CUERO y SALADO, is a reserve of wildlife impressively gathered on more than 13200 hectares. The visit of the reserve is done in boat and through the paths with foot. The zone is under protection for these species of manatee and american crocodiles which found refuge there. With the turning of the mangroves and channels you will have the chance to see monkeys, snakes or pelicans on the way.
• CANGREJAL River, on the edge of CEIBA, is one of the rapids most interesting of Central America for the white water rafting. This river is classified in class 2, 3, 4 and 5.
